Streamline your financial filing system


We've started using a document collection system called Hubdoc. It can automatically fetch and file key financial documents (like bank statements and invoices), so you don't have to. It is essentially a streamlined, digital filing cabinet.

  • It integrates with Xero and QuickBooks Online extracting key information from your receipts, invoices, and bills reducing data entry and reconciliation time.
  • Ensures your privacy. Instead of passing documents through hardcopy or over several email chains, data is directly submitted to a secure, cloud-based location where it can be accessed only by people with the proper authority.
  • The information is accessible anytime from anywhere - so we can access them from your office, our office and everywhere in between - to ensure we're getting accurate, up-to-date data when we need it.

Reminder: All employers must be using STP by 1 July 2019!

Single Touch Payroll (STP) is the direct reporting of salary and wages, PAYG withholding and superannuation contribution information to the ATO.

Businesses with more than 20 employees were required to start using the system last year, and now employers with less than 20 employees need to be set up and running by 1 July 2019.

Who is exempt?

Exemptions apply to "closely held payees" for the first financial year. Closely hold payees are directly related to the entity, such as family members of a family business, directors of a company and shareholders or beneficiaries
If you own a micro-business, or your business is in an area with no viable internet connection, then exemptions may also apply.
