We know how expensive and time consuming it is for small business owners to get the support and expert advice they need to get the most out of their business.
Plant: Grow: Reap is an informal coaching group, where you can come and talk to other like-minded small business owners and share advice, discuss obstacles and brainstorm solutions. Our members have access to industry professionals such as accountants, lawyers and marketers, who can provide coaching for those who are trying to grow their business, or start on new ventures.
Our current members have said they "highly recommend Plant: Grow: Reap if you want to grow your business and meet like minded professionals".

Fringe Benefit Tax Logbook
The ATO is now putting more scrutiny on correctly logging your FBT for company vehicles. We recently had a request for a copy of a logbook at Aintree Group.
So it’s more important than ever to get a logbook for ALL company vehicles (and actually use it, for at least 12 weeks) to ensure you're not at risk if you get audited.
Read more about FBT logbook requirements, and the phone apps that can help you log your company vehicle usage.
From Accountants Daily: "The ATO is set to “closely scrutinise" arrangements where amounts within an SMSF are held in a reserve, as opposed to being allocated directly to a member’s superannuation interest."
The ATO will be searching for unexplained increases in the creation of new reserves, in the balances of existing reserves, or allocation of amounts from a reserve directly into the retirement phase.
AGED CARE SEMINAR
Jayne Maini from Millennium Aged Care gave an excellent presentation on 20 March to clients, staff and members of our community.
Everyone found her professional insight to be incredibly valuable, and we all came away with more direction and purpose for ourselves and our families going forward.
Due to the hugely positive response, we will be endeavouring to hold another aged care information event later in 2018.
A huge thank you to Jayne for taking the time to come and share her expertise with us!
